Is Man. United & Van Gaal Finally Seeing the light?

What a difference time makes in football!  Just recently after Manchester United crashed to Leicester 5 goals to 3,having led 1-3,many felt this was definitely not a top three Epl team, they were 12th on the league table!

24 hrs before they take on vice champions from last season, Liverpool, who are struggling big time, this same Man. United is now 3rd position,8 points off 1st positioned Chelsea.

This is one of the most traditional duels in the English football history and this time around it could be one that could be very expensive for Liverpool!

Many disagreed with us, in a respectable manner I must add, when we suggested that this same Man. United team under van Gaal could still fight for championship this year after the land mark defeat to Leicester and so far they are well on Track!

Louis Van Gaal who in my modest opinion, erred by trying to play 3 defenders in a league like the EPL, where crosses and aerial duels are in vogue, has long since made the necessary adjustments and so has his team.

The population of the team lines from Defense to attack is better distributed now and they are finally winning games even when they are not playing so well!

join-us-on-twitterWith Van Persie finally showing prospects of a return to form, guided by Van Gaal’s experience, we can safely join Man. United fans in hoping for a secure Champions league qualification at least, come season end.

It’s been a turbulent first 5 months for Louis Van Gaal in England, one he is not in a hurry to forget and it was a sorry sight to see the dejected look on his face at times on the bench as he looked on helplessly at the negative press and results that plagued him and his team!

As they take on Liverpool, don’t be surprised to see a much audacious Man. U side that will try to force the result by being pro active as against reactive.

Liverpool with all respect would not go into this encounter believing in a win by ultra offensive play, though all is possible in football, but a win for Man. United at home today will give them a much brighter look out of the tunnel towards the sun as they face the all important festive period in the premier league, where titles are won and lost!
