What Do these Coaches have In common?

Mr. Aryan Tengku From Malaysia asks : “We were extremely impressed with your analysis and knowledge when you came to Malaysia during the 2018 world cup coverage, who are in your opinion Today, the best coaches in the world and Why? “……

I believe, football is no longer just a mere sport, but now a science and a mega lucrative business. It is no longer enough to just buy the best set of players, send them out on the pitch and win. This was often the norm prior to 2007, today, a lot more is needed to get success. Though having top quality players helps as Josep Guardiola found out during his first season at Manchester City.

The role of a coach is now more than ever extremely important. Every successful team today has an exceptional, charismatic and “modern” coach. Tactically, technically and Psychologically strong Coaches.

Today’s team success requires that for every aspect of the game, the coach has to give his players the tools to outplay and outsmart the opposition; Defending, attacking etc

This, the coach has to do not just generally but for each and every different opponent. What tactical moves that works against opposition team A would not necessarily work against opposition team f next week.

Furthermore, what further makes these coaches the best in the world, is their ability to read the game whilst it is on in real time and make changes or dish out instructions that will provoke victory for the side.

You must have noticed that top coaches in the world today are constantly running up and down the touchline dishing out instructions during matches, unlike in the past when they just sat down and let the players sort out the challenges in real time. Choosing to address these challenges during half time break or after the game in some situations.

In my opinion, below are the current best coaches in the world. They all excel in the points stated above, however, the List is not exhaustive, I strongly will like to state!!

Jurgen Klopp, Luis Enrique, Diego Simeone, Didier Deschamps, Josep Guardiola, Massimiliano Allegri, Zinedine Zidane and Unai Emery. What do this coaches have in common? They belong in the class of World’s best coaches

Every coach is good, But the better ones are the winners that are more in the headlines constantly as title winners.

Feel free to share with me what you think!

    Hi Mr Oliseh

I would like to get in touch with you. I am someone who has INTEREST in your coaching career bcoz I rate your football acumen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I HAVE strong “ill feelings” towards you not being in a coaching gig when there are teams (around the world) that LACK proper coaching.

I BELIEVE, we could work well together. And for me I’ve got some exec contacts around the world (U.S, English lower division, etc). Obviously, we’re all under God’s mercy and grace when it comes to the actual doors being OPENED. Your situation with Fortuna albeit it ended how it ended doesn’t change the fact that your CONTRIBUTION will never be erased. That was a platform which you used well under the circumstances. I see that time as having been a blessing.

Thanks for your time. I’ll look forward to your response.

    Keep well

    God bless

    – Sine
